uced in 1969 as a successor to the 206 GT and branded as a “Dino” to honor Enzo Ferrari’s late son, redo “Dino” Ferrari, the Dino 246 holds a special place in automotive history as one of the first mid-engine Ferrari sports cars. The 246 featured a more powerful 2.4-liter V6 engine producing 195 horsepower. Its stunning infarina design, with flowing curves and perfect proportions, quickly became a hallmark of Italian automotive styling.

The GTS trim, first seen in 1972, added a ga-style removable roof panel to the lightweight mid-engined platform. the 3,761 Dino 246 models produced, only 1,274 were GTS versions, making it a highly sought-after collectible today. Adding to its uniqueness, some GTS models were equipped with the “Chairs” option, which referred to the coveted a-style leather seats.
