This 1977 Volkswagen Bus features a Riviera camper-style interior , . Power comes from a 2.5-liter Subaru flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The exterior has been repainted in two-tone blue and white, while the interior features cloth front bucket seats and a matching rear bench that folds into a bed along with a sink, refrigerator, swing-out table, and cabinets. Additional equipment includes a Lecarra steering wheel, a Kenwood head unit with a USB input, a Webasto gas furnace, a water tank, and an ARB awning.
Additional exterior equipment includes chrome headlamp eyebrows and white-painted front and rear bumpers. An ARB awning was recently installed and can be viewed in the gallery. White-painted 14″ steel wheels wear chrome VW hubcaps and are wrapped in Hankook Vantra tires. The braking system has reportedly been upgraded with power-assisted front disc brakes and replacement rear brake drums and hardware. The front bucket seats are upholstered in tan cloth with gray center sections and are joined by tan door panels, a black dashboard, and brown carpeting. Interior features include a Vintage Air climate control system, a Kenwood head unit with speakers installed under the dash, and crank windows. The leather-wrapped Lecarra steering wheel frames aftermarket instruments including a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. Centrally mounted auxiliary gauges indicate oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 2k miles, 1k of which were reportedly added since the engine swap. Total mileage is unknown. The rear compartment features replacement brown storage cabinets and a bench seat that folds into a bed. A second sleeping platform is located in the pop-top that has been refurbished with replacement canvas materials. The interior refresh also reportedly included the installation of a replacement headliner, upholstery, hardwood flooring, curtains, and window and door seals. Camping equipment includes a kitchenette with a modern replacement refrigerator, a sink, a swing-out table, a power inverter, a Webasto gas furnace, and a high-capacity water tank. Wiring, including outlet plugs and surge protection units, are said to be modern replacement items. The factory engine was replaced with a naturally-aspirated 2.5L Subaru flat-four as part of the build performed in 2020 by North Westy in Renton, Washington.
