Rare slicktop, sunroof delete ro 1983 Ferrari dial QV Coupe.

I purchased the car from a mechanic in Southern fornia 3 years ago. I love the car, but I haven’t really put any miles on it since I’ve owned it so I will be making room for some other cars I’ve got.

$12k spent in service since I’ve owned the car. $8k spent in 2022 at the local Ferrari specialist shop Motion Products, Inc in WI. They went through the fuel system as well as some other smaller service and engine oil service. $4k spent on rebuilt steering rack, all new suspension bushings up front, a couple transmission seals, transmission service and fusebox connector.

I do have some historical records for the car as well. The previous owner was a mechanic and I have some of their receipts as well as a handwritten note. far as I can tel the last belt service with cam seals was done in 2018. The car has been to multiple shops while I’ve owned it an no one said the belt looked like it needed to be changed, but if the next owner wanted to do it based on time, I would understand. There are probably less than 2,000 miles since the belt was last changed.

The car runs fantastic, sounds great with the added la muffler and is a joy to drive.

The car is originally silver, but the two tone scheme was added under my ownership. Some of the silver paint was refinished and the black bottom two tone was added for the xer paint scheme. I love the look and feel like it shrinks the dial’s large body a bit.

od Gotti wheels are on the car with pretty much new General summer tires. They look awesome on the car.

The interior is largely well preserved. The front seat bottoms were refinished at some point and look good. The dash looks like it was probably done at some point too. The upper door panels are warped a but, but I do have some replacements that come with the car. I also have a set of black sheepskin front seat covers that came to me with the car.

Custom checkered brand mats were made for the car. Other interior enhancements include larger neering shift knob, neering shift gate and stainless neering pedals.

The next things on my list was to have the fuse panel rebuilt (~$1000) and rebuild some of the switches on the dash. I was also considering painting the back panel by the taillights to match the black bottom half of the car which I think would look amazing.

It is not a perfect 40 year old Italian car. But it is a fantastic driving vintage car that you can enjoy with your whole family, also a unique looking Ferrari for under $50k. Can’t imagine there is much else out there with that description.
