This 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet was acquired by the seller approximately 21 years ago, and it has subsequently resided in Indiana. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six linked with a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Guards Red over Champagne leather. The engine has been modified with an aftermarket turbocharger, revised camshafts, and a Billy Boat exhaust system, and the car is also equipped with 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, a power-operated black soft top, power-adjustable sport seats, an Alpine cassette stereo, a three-spoke steering wheel, and air conditioning. The tires were replaced in preparation for the sale. This 930 Turbo cabriolet is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, accessories, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Guards Red (L80K) and features a replacement black convertible soft top, fog lights, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, and a single exhaust outlet. The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage, although the seller reports that a parking-lot incident approximately two decades ago resulted in repairs to one of the doors. Black-finished 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires that were installed in preparation for the sale, following the car’s photoshoot. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs. The power-adjustable sport front seats are upholstered in Champagne leather, and the cabin features matching door panels and carpets as well as a black dashboard. Amenities include air conditioning, an analog clock, power windows, an Alpine cassette stereo and glovebox-mounted six-disc CD changer. The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 30k of which were added under current ownership. The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was overhauled in September 2000 and has been fitted with an aftermarket turbocharger, revised sport-tuned camshafts, and a Billy Boat exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle was rebuilt in March 1995 at which time the clutch was also replaced. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
