This 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider is powered by a 3.4-liter DOHC V8 paired with a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Connolly leather. Features include a convertible soft top, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, high-flow catalytic converters, a limited-slip differential, and a gated shifter. The seller acquired the car in May 2014, and a timing belt service was most recently completed in June 2019. This 348 shows 62k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, removed catalytic converters, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name. The 348 was the final V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari, and its design was overseen by Pininfarina chief stylist Leonardo Fioravanti. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa, and it features a manually retractable convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, louvered taillights, and quad exhaust tips. The front spoiler was repaired in July 2015, and the left rocker was repaired in July 2016 according to the seller, who notes three holes in the exterior of the convertible top. Stone chips on forward surfaces and other flaws are shown in the gallery below. The 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in 215/50 front and 255/45 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires mounted in 2015. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock brakes with Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs at all four corners. Curb marks are noted on the rear wheels. The cabin features two seats upholstered in Beige Connolly leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. A dogleg-pattern gated shifter and power windows are additional elements. The passenger seat adjustment handle is broken off. The stereo and the air conditioning system have not been used during current ownership. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 12k of which have been added during current ownership. Slow-down warning lights are shown illuminated in the video below. The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 312 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and cooling hoses were replaced in June 2019 during an engine-out service by GT Motorsports of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, along with additional components itemized below. The battery was replaced in July 2023. The engine cover struts require replacement. The seller reports that the engine control module malfunctions intermittently, which results in misfires from one bank of cylinders. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. High-flow catalytic converters were installed in August 2014, and removed converters accompany the car. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Illinois and Wisconsin.
