This 1994 Porsche 911 Speedster is one of 936 examples produced between 1992 and 1994, just 427 of which were built for the US market. It was delivered new to a Porsche dealership in Bend, Oregon, and it was also registered in Colorado and Montana prior to its acquisition in August 2018 by the current owner, who relocated it to California. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in black over matching leather and leatherette. Equipment includes 17″ Cup alloy wheels, a black soft top, a fiberglass twin-hump convertible-top cover panel, air conditioning, cruise control, a Becker-Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The battery was replaced in preparation for the sale. This 911 Speedster shows 12k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with literature, a stamped maintenance log, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title. The 964 Speedster features a fiberglass twin-hump convertible-top cover panel, a shorter windshield than that of the contemporary cabriolet, and a manually operated top mechanism. This example is finished Black (L741) with a matching soft top, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a single exhaust outlet. Staggered-width 17″ Cup alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza S-02A tires. Braking is handled by black Porsche-script calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The seats feature power height adjustment and are upholstered in black leather and leatherette. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Becker-Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo, cruise control, and power accessories. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline flanked by a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 700 miles of which were added under current ownership. The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below. Decoding the option sticker in the maintenance booklet reveals the following information: L741 – Black paint VN – Black leather and leatherette upholstery C02 – Version for USA XD4 – Wheel caps with full-color Porsche crests 331 – Becker-Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo 379 – Standard driver’s seat with power height adjustment 380 – Standard seat, right, with power height adjustment 454 – Cruise control 573 – Air conditioning The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Oregon, Colorado, Montana, and California.
