This 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS coupe is one of 979 30th Anniversary Edition examples produced for the North American market, and it was modified when new by SLP Engineering with the SS Alteration Package. The car was initially delivered to Bob Smedley Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Poteau, Oklahoma, and it has 1,100 miles following registration history in Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Texas. Finished in Arctic White with Hugger Orange stripes over white leather with houndstooth cloth inserts, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, white-finished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a Level II Bilstein sport suspension, an SLP Engineering air induction system, a performance exhaust system, a rear spoiler, a Hurst shifter, a Delco cassette stereo, a 12-CD changer, and air conditioning. This Z28 coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title. All 30th Anniversary Camaro examples were finished in Arctic White (10) with Hugger Orange stripes and SS badging. Additional features include a composite hood with a functional scoop as well as a deck lid spoiler, fog lights, and black headlight surrounds. A paint correction was performed in preparation for the sale, per the selling dealer. White-finished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with older BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS, and the car is equipped with a Level II Bilstein sport suspension. The four-place cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in white leather with houndstooth cloth inserts. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Hurst shifter, a Delco cassette stereo, a 12-CD changer, cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 1,100 miles. The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 features a performance exhaust system and an SLP Engineering air induction system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The window sticker lists initial delivery to Bob Smedley Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Poteau, Oklahoma, along with factory options, colors, and a total vehicle price of $24,016. The Camaro SS Alteration package added an additional $7,592. Manufacturer’s literature is also included in the sale. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, and Texas.
