This 1999 Ferrari F355 Spider is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a paddle-shifted six-speed F1 gearbox. Finished in Rosso Corsa over tam Connolly leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a black soft top, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, fog lights, a Tubi Style exhaust, drilled aluminum pedals, a Pioneer stereo, a Soundstream amplifier, and automatic climate control. The car has spent time in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Virginia through the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023. An engine-out timing belt service was performed and the air pump motor was replaced in 2019, and service since 2022 consisted of recharging the air conditioning refrigerant in addition to changing the oil and replacing the battery. This F355 Spider is now offered by the selling dealer with factory literature, two keys, partial service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa, and styling incorporates a power-operated black convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a boot cover, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Cracks in the finish are located on the fender shields, and paint protection film has been applied to portions of the exterior. The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 265/40 rear Bridgestone tires. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. The bucket seats are trimmed in tan Connolly leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated lower dash, door panels, and carpets. Ferrari-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include automatic climate control, a Pioneer stereo, power windows and locks, a Soundstream amplifier, and drilled aluminum pedals. Loose upholstery is visible on the dashboard, and the air conditioning refrigerant was recharged in preparation for the sale. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, a gauge for coolant temperature, and a digital gear indicator. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles. A mileage inconsistency is listed in a July 2000 entry of the Carfax report, which notes that it may be a result of a “clerical error.” The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service was performed and the air pump motor was replaced in 2019, and service since 2022 consisted of changing the oil and replacing the battery. Power is routed to the rear wheels via an electrohydraulically operated six-speed F1 gearbox. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery. Factory literature, two keys, and partial service records are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned July 2000 mileage inconsistency and lists history in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Virginia. Filed under: 355
