This 1999 Mercedes-Benz G500 is a short-wheelbase cabriolet that was imported to the US by Europa International of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and spent time in New Jersey and New York prior to its acquisition by the seller on BaT in July 2023. The truck is finished in silver over gray leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 linked with a five-speed automatic transmission, a two-speed transfer case, and three locking differentials. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, 18″ Ashtaroth wheels, a front brush guard, fog lights, running boards, rear parking sensors, heated front and rear seats, air conditioning, and an Alpine CD stereo with Bluetooth capability. This G500 cabriolet has 72k miles and is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The truck is finished in silver with black trim, and equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, a front brush guard, integrated front fog lamps, running boards, rear parking sensors, a swing-out spare tire carrier, a rear receiver hitch, and a side-exit exhaust system. The convertible top cylinders were reportedly replaced under prior ownership. A blemish is noted on the passenger door. Five-spoke 18″ Ashtaroth alloy wheels wear 265/60 Nokian tires that show date codes from 2016. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in gray leather complemented by woodgrain trim on the dashboard, center console, steering wheel, and shifter. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated front seats in addition to heated rear seats, cruise control, air conditioning, dual front airbags, and a Bluetooth-capable Alpine CD stereo. The front seat upholstery shows wear, and the plastic on the air conditioning vents is chipped. Instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 72k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The 5.0-liter V8 was factory-rated at 292 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque and features an aluminum block as well as three valves per cylinder. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and three locking differentials. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery below. The Carfax report notes no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Montana. A duplicate title was issued in January 2017.
