This 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am convertible is #0049 of 1,600 30th Anniversary models produced, and its selling dealer reports that it is #33 from a selection of convertibles that were used as support vehicles in the 1999 Daytona 500, of which only this vehicle had a six-speed manual transmission. Finished in Arctic White with a blue soft top over white Prado leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8, and it features 17″ blue-tinted alloy wheels, a limited-slip differential, a Hurst shifter, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat in addition to the WS6 Ram Air Performance and Handling Package, which added functional hood scoops, ram-air induction, a tuned suspension, and a power-steering cooler. The package also included a low-restriction exhaust system, which was replaced before the selling dealer acquired the vehicle in 2023. This Firebird Trans Am Convertible shows 27k miles and is now offered with a window sticker, a build sheet, manufacturer’s literature, a spare shift knob, a binder with historical photos and correspondence, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title. The car is finished in Arctic White with blue stripes and a power-operated Medium Blue Navy convertible soft top. It features Daytona 500 Official Pace Car graphics, 30th Anniversary Edition badging, functional hood scoops, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and a decklid spoiler. Close-up photos of the body panels and trim are shown in the gallery below. Blue-tinted 17″ alloy wheels were fitted at the factory along with WS6 revised suspension tuning, a power steering cooler, and electronic traction control. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in white Prado leather with 30th Anniversary embroidery on the headrests, and a center-console plaque identifies the car as 30th Anniversary Edition #0049. Appointments include a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Hurst shifter, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, 30th Anniversary-branded floor mats, and a Monsoon audio system with a 12-disc CD changer in the trunk. Wear on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat is pictured in the gallery. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,000-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership. A mileage inconsistency is listed in four entries on the Carfax report, which notes that it may be the result of a clerical error. The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 305 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The Ram Air Performance and Handling Package added a low-restriction dual exhaust system that was replaced during previous ownership. The seller states that removed exhaust components are included in the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Listing factory colors, equipment, and a total vehicle price of $37,030, a window sticker accompanies the vehicle along with a build sheet, manufacturer’s literature, a removed shift knob, soft-top accessories, and historical photos and correspondence that are shown at the end of the gallery. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned mileage inconsistencies, no accidents or other damage, and history in Virginia, Ontario, and Michigan.
