This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette spent time in New York and Michigan before it was sent to Classic Reflection Coachworks in Washington state in 2007 to be modified in the style of a 1962 C1 Corvette. The CRC “Retro-Vette” build involved replacing fiberglass panels with carbon-fiber bodywork that was finished in red, and the car is fitted with a black soft top and black and red leather upholstery. Power is provided by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and equipment includes chrome 19″ and 20″ wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable seats, a head-up display, a CD stereo, and a Bose sound system. The car was acquired by the current owner in January 2022 and now has 35k miles, and it was previously listed on BaT in July 2023. This C5 Corvette now is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Rhode Island with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name. The “Retro-Vette” conversion by Classic Reflection Coachworks was finished in 2007 and included replacing fiberglass exterior body panels with C1-style carbon-fiber bodywork and a refinish in red. Additional details include a black soft top, chrome bumpers and trim, and C1-style badging. A wear mark on the soft top near the upper-right corner of the driver’s window is shown up close in the gallery. Chrome five-spoke 19″ and 20″ wheels are wrapped in 275/30 front and 305/25 rear Continental ContiSportContact 3 tires showing 2006 date codes. The car is equipped with traction control and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The bucket seats are upholstered in black and red leather with CRC-embroidered backrests. Appointments include a head-up display, power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a CD stereo linked with a Bose sound system. The outer driver’s seat bolster is worn. The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 35k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is equipped with an aftermarket air intake. The oil was changed in preparation for the sail. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Classic Reflection Coachworks tag affixed to the front frame rail specifies a June 2007 build date and designates the car as build number 29. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Michigan, Washington, Kansas, Florida, and Montana. Filed under: c5
