This 2007 Saturn Sky was modified in 2008 by Mallett Performance Cars of Berea, Ohio. Work included installing a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 with ported cylinder heads, long-tube exhaust headers, and a custom-grind camshaft as well as a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission, a LUK Pro Gold clutch, a big brake kit, 18″ Forgeline wheels, Penske coilover suspension, a Corsa Performance exhaust system, custom interior components, flared rear quarter panels, and a heavy-duty differential, axle shafts, and sway bars. Finished in Black Onyx over black leather upholstery with alligator inserts the car is further equipped with a manually retractable black convertible soft top, fog lights, a rear spoiler, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system. The seller purchased the car in 2017 and has since added approximately 4k of the 21k miles. This modified Sky is now offered with Mallett Performance Cars invoices and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name. The Sky was built as a twin to the Pontiac Solstice, with both vehicles riding on the General Motors Kappa platform. This example is finished in Black Onyx and features a manually retractable black convertible soft top in addition to a front-hinged hood, bright hood vent trim, fog lights, a rear spoiler, and a polished aluminum exhaust outlet. Mallett modifications include functional front fender vents and fabricated flared rear quarter panels. There is staining on the soft top and there are scratches in the paint. A 2007 Carfax report entry notes minor damage resulting from a front-end collision with another vehicle. Black Forgeline wheels are mounted with Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires measuring 275/30 up front and 325/30 out back, that were installed recently. This example is fitted with Mallett’s big brake kit, which added 13″ slotted rotors, SSBC calipers with Mallett-branded covers, and front brake ducting. Suspension modifications include adjustable Penske coilovers and aftermarket front and rear sway bars. The bucket seats were reupholstered in black leather with alligator pattern inserts and feature Mallett-embroidered headrests. Interior appointments include stainless-steel pedal covers, metallic door sill covers, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood touchscreen infotainment system. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. The digital odometer indicates 21k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership. The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 was installed by Mallett Performance Cars and is modified with an upgraded camshaft, ported cylinder heads, an aluminum radiator, carbon fiber ignition covers, and long-tube exhaust headers. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and an iron 8.8″ rear center section with 3.73:1 gears. A LUK Pro Gold clutch, an upgrade shift fork, and a custom driveshaft and half shafts have been fitted. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report. The Illinois title lists a “Corrected” remark.
