1952 Willys Jeep Wagon

This 1952 Willys Station Wagon was acquired by the current owner in 2006 and subsequently modified as part of a multi-year build that was completed in 2011. The body was repainted in metallic red with a black roof and fitted over an Art Morrison chassis with an independent front suspension and a four-link setup out back with adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Power is provided by a 350ci GM V8 with Edelbrock electronic fuel injection and a custom dual system, while the 4L60 four-speed automatic transmission is linked to a Ford 9″ rear axle. The interior houses Corbeau front bucket and rear bench seats and features a patterned headliner as well as air conditioning, a Sony CD stereo, and Dakota Digital instrumentation. Further modifications include a sunroof, rack-and-pinion power steering, power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes, and 17″ Billet Specialties wheels. This modified Willys is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Florida title. Billet Specialties 17″ wheels are mounted with 225/55 front and 275/55 rear Yokohama Advan S.T. tires. The fabricated steel Art Morrison chassis incorporates rack-and-pinion power steering, tubular front control arms, a four-link rear suspension, and adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs. The Corbeau front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl with red cloth inserts and are accompanied by a patterned headliner along with black door panel inserts and red carpets. A center console splits the front seats, and black and red metallic trim accents the dashboard as well as the window surrounds. Further appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a Sony CD stereo, and power windows. An aftermarket steering wheel is mounted to a polished tilt steering column and fronts centrally mounted Dakota Digital instrumentation that consists of a digital speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 883 miles, and total mileage is unknown. The 350ci GM V8 crate engine features an Edelbrock electronic fuel injection system and aluminum intake manifold as well as an MSD ignition coil and custom Willys-branded aluminum valve covers. An oil change was carried out in 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60 four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle. The dual exhaust system features four-into-one headers along with Borla mufflers.
