Up for sale I have a 1995 Comp T/A #29 of 72 built for the model year, and #29 of 164 total produced from 1995 through 1997 to celebrate the anniversary of BF ’s Comp T/A tire.
This 3 owner vehicle has 67,XXX on the odometer, and was purchased from the second owner in 2015. The second owner, who also owned Comp T/A #92 (an auto, t-top car), purchased the car in 1997 from the original owner. the numbers below show, this Comp is 1 of 72 built in 1995, and of those there were only 30 coupes with 17 coupes being equipped with a 6-speed. The numbers below also show 6 cars being produced with the sport suspension package, which I am told this car had by the President of the Comp T/A Owners sociation. I am also told that this is one of three cars that was also ordered with a Comp T/A car cover.
This car was tuned and run on a dyno by the second owner and was recorded at 376hp to the rear wheels, thus winning an award at an F- y Dyno oza. This car also ran a best of 12.20 in street trim by the previous owner at land International Raceway. While the factory decal claims that these cars made 310hp at the crank, this one received some very healthy upgrades listed below:
- ed LT4 heads
- An LT4 spec camshaft
- matched LT4 intake manifold
- ed throttle body
- Electric water pump
- Fuel system upgrade
- r rocker arms
- SLP long tube headers with a high flow catalytic converter
- A modified 2 on the Left performance exhaust system
- An SLP lightened flywheel and LT4 clutch
- 4.10 final drive gear with an upgraded differential and aluminum girdle
- n fiber driveshaft
- K&N air filter
To ensure that this car can go in more than just a straight line, #29 also received BMR subframe connectors, an SLP strut tower brace, upgraded rear control arms, Spohn panhard rod, and a Spohn torque arm. Stopping duty is handled by a er big brake kit.
Note: I was told by the second owner that he ordered an original Spohn torque arm which failed. So Spohn redesigned their 4th gen torque arm and sent the first one to him, and it is on this car.
Explaining the modified Two on the Left exhaust: One of the complaints with this system was that it eliminated the passenger side tip leaving only one dual exhaust tip to fill in the bumper gap on the driver’s side. This system was modified to include a second set of TOTL dual exhaust tips on the driver side. r to a la system, a plate can be added to this exhaust to send all exhaust through the muffler, and with the plate removed you essentially have an open cut out.
When purchased in 2015 this car wore a set of Corvette wheels. A correct set of 17×9 Speedline wheels was sourced and painted in the correct Silver llic. A set of correct center caps was also sourced, along with Comp T/A inserts, and the wheels were wrapped in BF Sport Comp 2 tires. der the hood you will find signatures for those who have a history with these cars, including mburger of SLP and Jim son of Historical vices.
h the exterior and interior of this car present extremely well with excellent paint and a flawless ebony leather interior. talled are the original set of Comp T/A floor mats which have some wear, and a newer set of Comp T/A floor mats are also included. The car also comes with its previously mentioned Comp T/A cover, extra Comp T/A center cap inserts, and an extra Comp T/A air box.
I’m sure that I’m forgetting some things, so please feel free to reach out with any questions that you have or for additional photos and/or videos. This car drives absolutely beautifully, and it’s going to be sad seeing it go. The upgrades added by the second owner truly enhance this car’s capabilities, and it’s the best LT1 4th gen that I’ve ever driven.
king price is $31,995 obo.
